Jessi Sprocket and Skiland Judd collaborated with Katie’s mother, Kim Weingartner on this special gate for the memorial garden for Katie Weingartner at the Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows.
Sprocket created the design based on a Chinese Moon Gate incorporating some flowers and metal rod latticework for future plant vines. Ski and Sprocket have been working together to fabricate this project with the help of Tiffanie Paxton and Zack Medina. Ski’s metal roses will add a special touch to the completed gate lattice.
The gate is slated for installation as the opening gate of the new garden in early Summer 2022.
