WORK
2023 - 2024 - Upside Down Land - House of Infinite Potential - Lead Artist - A six-month immersive installation in Reno, NV created with a massive team of artist who transformed a warehouse into a literal dreamland. Specifically fabricated the Octopus Ocean as the lead artist with a crew of four supporting including Kristen Straight, Chris Crow, Lee Johnson and Daisy Mae Dixon.
2022 - Present - Immigrant Aid Print Project - Lead Artist - Block printed textile project to support refugees who are immigrating to America. I was awarded two grants for this project in 2022 and I’m currently hosting classes at the Urban Roots Teaching farm to raise awareness and share my knowledge of natural dyeing and block printing. Classes run from Winter - Summer 2023.
2018 - Present - Reno Punk Rock Flea Market - Co-Founder & Event Lead - A two-day festival celebrating Reno DIY culture, art, punk music and community. RPRFM hosts over 150 artists, 15+ bands, 4,000 attendees and so much more.
2022 - House of Infinite Potential - Artist - A pop-up installation for Miami Art Week held in Magic City, Miami, FL. This project consisted of an international art crew as well as many Reno-natives. Specifically fabricated the Ice Palace including various metal ice crystal sculptures ranging from 3ft - 7ft.
2020 - 2022- Signal Boost - The Boost was created during quarantine to connect Northern Nevada makers and doers despite us being unable to be together. Signal Boost is a weekly live stream show that interviews artists, activists, organizers, musicians, and anyone doing meaningful work in Northern Nevada. The show is in year two of production and has featured hundreds of local people.
2020 - 2022 - Generate! The Zine Project - Co-Lead Artist - A quarterly community zine project designed to elevate, connect and support artists in Reno/Sparks and beyond. This project was founded by myself and Ray Daylami Frost as a way to safely create art with our community during Covid lockdown. In 2021, we were awarded a grant for this project from the City of Reno Arts and Culture Commission.
2020 - 2022 - Desolation Hotel Aspen Tree - Co-Lead Artist - A leather, metal and stone Aspen tree for a new hotel in South Lake Tahoe
2020 - 2022 - Katie’s Garden Moon Gate - Lead Artist - Artistic memorial gate for the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadow
2018 - 2019 - Baba Yaga’s House - Lead Artist - Burning Man Honorarium Recipient 2018, Exhibited at Burning Man 2018. Installed at Fly Ranch in Gerlach, NV 2019.
2017 - Flynn - Lead Artist - Exhibited at Reno Sculpture Fest 2017 - Currently in private collection.
2016 - Space Whale - Fabricator - Burning Man Honorarium Recipient 2016, Exhibited at Burning Man, Temporarily installed at City Plaza in Reno, NV 2017.
2016 - Snowflake/Schnee - Lead Artist - Recipient of SnowGlobe Grant - Exhibited at SnowGlobe Festival 2016. Exhibited at Reno Sculpture Fest 2016. Exhibited at OffBeat Festival 2016 - Permanently installed in Greenwood Village, CO 2020.
2015 - Spiritus Mortem - Lead Artist - Exhibited at Reno Sculpture Fest 2015. Permanently installed in Flanigan, NV 2016.
2014 - 2018 - Ziza - Lead Artist - A roving double-decker tea truck built for Burning Man. Ziza provided rides for hundreds of people on Playa.
