After 5 years, The Pier returned to the Playa for Burning Man 2017. Sprocket was part of a small team of artists who spruced up the old pier, created a new bait shoppe and installed the piece in Black Rock City.
The Pier at Sunset
Sprocket originally experienced the Pier at Burning Man 2011 & 2012. She admired the story telling aspect of the piece especially the attention to detail on The Ship. She felt very fortunate to become part of the crew that would bring it back to life in the dry bed of Lake Lahontan.

Pappy's Master Bait Shoppe
Sprocket had the honor of placing the sign on Pappy's Bait Shoppe. Curating and creating the Bait Shoppe was Sprocket's favorite part of installing The Pier.
